This is a note that a young boy in the children’s home I work in gave to me.

When I told him it was time for me to leave, he begged me to do one last thing with him. I reluctantly followed him and helped him get out a piece of paper and crayons so he could draw. Once he had his crayon picked out, he looked up at me and asked, “How do you spell come back?”

I guess you can say that it cured me of my belief that I actually had important things to get to.
